Summer Job

Well, after only working at domino's for less then a month, I have a new job. I'll need to break the news to my general manager Ryan soon.

It sucks but it's what I've wanted for awhile now. Probably since I was a kid I wanted to be part of the staff at Camp Huston. I went to the camp for about 8 years for about a week every summer.

But I guess the hardest part is going to be quiting a job that I've only had for about 2 months when I'll be putting in my 2 weeks. But here's the thing, I left Papa John's without giving notice because they would have just sent me home. They would have just not cared about me because I was leaving. They just wouldn't need to "take care of me".

So this leads the problem. When do I let them know that they're new kick-ass driver (I don't like to brag, but I'm one damn good driver) is leaving. Will they let me come back at the end of the summer? Will they think/see I'm that good?

I mean I would like to keep my job there, but this opprotunity only comes around once a year, and THIS would be the last year I would concider working there. I think working there being 21 years old would be a little rediculous.

I'm porbably just working too much, I tend to do that too much.

SO this means I'm throwing out my Plan B which was moving in with Josh King, going to Warped Tour, running with Kitte during the summer, camping with friends, visit my older sister in Cali, traveling to Canada to get my indian card to get my college schooling paid for (I think I probably should still do this so I can return to school in the fall), and just relaxing with all my time I get with work at domino's.

I do love driving though.

Heres a picture from today, it was in the low 70's today and not a cloud in the sky, perfect driving weather.

Speak with the manager now.

Tell exactly what you wrote here. Why you want this summer job at the camp and that you would like to return driving for the big D of pizza when summer is over.

You ALWAYS have higher chance of obtaining your goals when you speak the truth.

Let yourself visualize acheiving the above and it will happen.

Visualization is the force that can make dreams reality!
