Today, I went to watch the Mariner's play the White Sox's. I was accompanied by my manager/friend Adam, his soon to be wife Kim, her friend Kristy, and my friendly-flatmate, Tommy.
Another great day, low 70's, only a couple happy white clouds, and great to watch the M's come back to win in the extra innings, 4-3.

Moyer had a good outing, he only gave up 2 runs in 7 innings, only this is that they but in Guardado, and oh man. He's blowing it! He blew his last outing by walking four batters (which turned out to be the winning run) and I think the time before that, he gave up a walk off homerun! Good thing he only gave up 1 homerun tonight before a nightmare could begin. Tie game now 3-3. So we're heading down to leave trying to beat the traffic, and of course I think Eddie is going to mess-up somehow. Tom and I walk over to a section on the 100 level, see him give up the stupid homerun.
Extra inning games are the best because everyone leaves around the 10th, and then you can move down to the lower seats to. Bam, there is my old neighbor Brandon, hella kick-ass, we grab seats right by him. Fast-forward to the 11th inning, a runner on second, the Sox's decided to walk the 7th batter after 2nd base as stolen. Two men on, two outs, and little Betancourt is up. They probably figured it was a easy out. Under the pressure, the short stop hits a great liner up the left field line, Bloomquist rounds third, the return throw from left field was cut off and the throw to home was late, M's win.
A great day, good game. I always enjoy the Mariner's.
