Happy B-Day Dad

My father, Larry Maland, was born on April 29th, 1947 in some town in New Jersey, and moved out to California in his teenaged years. He later became the first class at Irvine University in Southern California. He later fathered four children, Philip, 33, Erica, 22, Me, 20, and Mandy, 18. He also owns and operates his business SureYouCan! Which he teaches and and fixes computers. He also is a grandfather of Kylie, and Becca, Philip's and Jill's kids.

Today, I started off walking out to my car to discovered some one backed into my cars front turn signal. Thanks neighbors. The first time in months that I park in front of my garage, and this is the shit I get. Oh well, at least its only about $33 for a new housing.

After picking up my sister Mandy, we headed up about a hour north to Lynnwood to celebrate my dad's b-day early. So after arriving, my dad had us drive out to my brother Philip's to visit my new niece Becca, my other wonderful niece Kylie, and my sister-in-law Jill. It's always nice to visit them out there.

After we left, we headed to look at a house my dad's realtor my buy, a little pricy and out of the way. So he scrapped that idea.

And off to dinner we went. First was Denny's, but they were clearly under staffed, so then we took my dad to the Village Inn, were we ate at a reasonable price for $25 dollars for 3 of us. But something caught my sister's eye when we were headed into the restaurant. Little Caesars.

Now if you know me extremely well, you know I love and miss them. Mostly their Crazy Bread. But damn, they're just soooo much better than all the other pizza places. I could have walked in and out with bread sticks and pizza in less than 30 seconds if I knew what I wanted to order. Plus maybe for the best news of all, it only cost a little less than $10 for a large pepperoni pizza and 2 orders of Crazy Bread.

Oh man, that first bit into the crazy bread brought back so many memories. I think I'll take some more road trips to Little Caesars in the future. So my Friday plans fell threw. Damn, oh well. There is always next week.

Yo bro... I'm 33, not 31, and it's Philip with one L.

Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I didn't get home any sooner. Shoot me an email some time. We should talk.
